In Sport opened its first store in the Burwood suburb of Sydney in 1983. It was based on a concept for a brand-new category of sports store that focused on athletic apparel and footwear. Since then, it has developed into one of NSW’s top sportswear and footwear businesses
The first store had a clean, contemporary look that was appealing to younger customers. In Sport continues to take the same stance today and always keeps things interesting and novel by carrying the newest clothing and footwear brands such as Nike, Adidas, Asics, New Balance, Champion, and Puma.
With its immediate consumer appeal, In Sport quickly expanded by opening new outlets to serve the majority of Sydney’s metropolitan area. Today, with 16 stores in Australia, In Sport is one of Sydney’s largest specialist sportswear and footwear store for men, women, and children.
